Create a theme for your online forum to be consistent with your company, brand, product, or category. Set the look and feel for the discussion by inserting your company logo, matching your color palette, selecting fonts and inserting images. You can define your own survey web address to better reflect and represent your brand.

Present an engaging set-up for your online forum in the topic area by including images, optimizing the placement of your text and formatting for impact and comprehension.

Threaded Discussions

Threaded discussions let moderators and participants easily see and experience the flow of the conversation which helps create discussion momentum and better insights. Participants can reply to the moderator’s questions as well as to comments from other participants.

Invite Participants

You can Invite participants directly into a forum or use the forum profiling questionnaire to profile participants based on standard demographics. The forum profiling questionnaire contains set questions that can be turned on and off with the click of a button. Gather relevant data to connect to participants and their posts for analysis purposes. Better yet, stream participants directly from an online survey and have all of their survey data appended to their forum posts for better analysis. The survey-to-forum invite process also allows moderators to select participants based on more tightly defined criteria.

Moderator Tools

Position moderator questions to optimize your discussion. Modify the order of your questions as your discussion progresses to ensure maximum traffic to generate meaningful content. Have participants click agree or disagree on comments being made with the user friendly icons. Star posts to indicate good comments or quotes for future reference.

Moderator Management

Firefly Forums allows you to have multiple moderators to help with workload and scheduling. You can take your online forum engagement to a higher level by having a guest moderator, Ask the Expert or Ask the CEO format where the guest moderator can answer questions but have restricted administrative access.

Transcript Analysis

Export your online forum data file to Excel complete with all forum posts connected to any and all data points from your online survey, profiling questionnaire, and forum activity. You can sort, sift, highlight and filter to find emerging themes, poignant quotes and common phrases or terms. Using word clouds enables visualization of certain questions, topics or themes. Link feature quotes with a participant profile to give the quote more context.
